Our Story

Adaptive Cultures was born in 2016 with a purpose to enable individuals, collectives, and communities to live their highest potentials, making a positive and deeply humane contribution to their spheres of influence.

Work in leadership and culture, both inside organisations and as external consultants, led us to become increasingly disappointed by the prevailing “one size fits all” approach to culture change.

Developing our insights with research, application in organisational culture work, numerous interviews with leaders of organisations, and frequent philosophical discussions, we published the ground-breaking whitepaper “Developing Adaptive Organisations Through Leadership & Culture”.

Our purpose is brought to life by a growing global group of passionate stakeholders, practitioners, and community, and some extraordinarily courageous clients who we have been so proud to partner with. 

We continue to evolve, and in 2025 joined the WDHB group - an organisation with a deep commitment to experiential learning and purposeful transformation. Based in Denver, Colorado and with presence across Europe and Asia, WDHB’s purpose is to connect people and challenge perspectives to shape the future of organisations.
